I've got a lot of love for Red Hat (especially their training and
certification exams), and have been a long-time user. I've also got a
Fedora box. And soon, an XO/Sugar beastie. But after years of
pooh-poohing the Debian Way, I've found Ubuntu (which is Debian based)
to be a quite pleasant experience. I encourage you to give it a go.

I don't currently have any multi-boot systems other than a Micro$oft
Windoze / Ubuntu laptop, but that works fine...
