here in MD by contract Comcast is supposed to offer cable to all county 
residents. We have no cable on our street - we have been wating 22 
years or so :-)


Part of my response/worry was about how vulnerable the system is. Seems to 
me fires in underground tunnels are easier to set than blowing up 
buiildings ....
