I noticed i was unable ssh to my main box. so i tried to uninstall and that
gave errors. installing also fails with errors about unable to link a file
etc. So it occured to me it may be a file problem, permissions etc. so i
find /usr/sbinsshd which is still there and I cant remove it. owner appears
to be 501 and group root, if im reading it right:
-rwxr-xr-x 1 501 root 236457 2008-05-15 07:36 sshd
here is the error when i try to chown:
server1:/usr/sbin# chown root:root sshd
chown: changing ownership of `sshd': Operation not permitted
this is the beauty i see fater rm:
server1:/usr/sbin# rm sshd
rm: remove write-protected regular file `sshd'? y
rm: cannot remove `sshd': Operation not permitted
So whatcha waiting for people? Don't just stand there. chime in! :-)
