 	I just noticed that my testbed install of CentOS booted 
up with a Xen kernel -- and probably has been doing ...

 	Googling xen peth0 promiscuous gets plenty of hits, but 
none within my grasp.

 	What I'm wondering is whether this means anything for my 
quixotic quest of an emulator that can GPS-interfacing topo map 
software and make it actually talk to my GPSs.

 	Any thoughts?
