Over the weekend, we bit the bullet and now own a gorgeous 50" 720p
Pannasonic Plasma. (We spend hours looking at the LCD, 720, 1080 and
decided we liked the pix best on this one).

Now I need to figure out how to get content to it.

I have FiOS and am on the list for an HD box (my guess is 4-6 weeks).

Every device we own s-video or worse today. So time to upgrade.

DVD
PS3 (60gb only!) for BluRay (450-550$)
   or
HDMI scaling DVD player (< 80$ w/ HDMI cable)

DVR
None (never owned one)
   or
Tivo HD (300$)
   or
Tivo HD Series 3 (699$)
   or
FiOS DVR
   or
Apple TV (used from Apple 299( or less) for 160GB)
   or
Build your own

Eventually I will need sound, but the speakers work fine for now :D
