[Novalug] OT: Led bulbs recommendation

Has anyone tried LED bulbs? First of all, are they satisfactory in the
sense that they make the kitchen or reading lamp or what have you bright
enough? And do you forget about the light source?

About 22 months ago my lights went out at about 9 pm and stayed off
until about 6 pm 21 hours later. I was able to read a little bit thanks
to LED stuff, but it was not, repeat NOT, a satisfying experience. But
hope springs eternal.
