[Novalug] OT: Led bulbs recommendation

I ordered some led light bulbs from softwareandstuff.com, or maybe it
was from geeks.com...they had like 18 LEDs or 22 LEDs, my thinking was
okay, maybe for the closet or porch light, well, they only use like 5
watts or something but they were about as dim as a night light. You
definately could not read by them. I tried using them in the porch
lamp glas Jar type fixtures but somehow the moisture got to them and
they failed soon.
I have heard there is a new kind of LED for like camera studios that
are crazy expensive and super bright with lower wattage than normal
studio lights.
I have heard good things about strip leds that are used as indirect
lighting like a string of christmas lights behind molding that
reflects the light onto the ceiling...
