[Novalug] Emacs and vm

I have used VM for email quite a bit. In fact, I used to work with Kyle. 
I like it.

The only problem is when mailboxes grow large. I am not sure whether 
things get worse linearly or quadratically, but it's all interpreted, 
and I'm not sure whether elisp does qsorts or what.

What is your real question? What do you really want to know?
