[Novalug] Emacs and vm

You don't need to configure it at all. It works Just Fine with Default 
Options.

Comment every line in your dot-files and uncomment bit by bit to get 
them to work.

VM has historically used sendmail to inject mail into the system. You 
can either either write a wrapper script to invoke exim's mail injection 
program. I believe VM also speaks SMTP to an outgoing mail relay, much 
the same way that Eudora, Thunderbird, and other similar clients do.

VM works Just Fine, but like anything else, you have to figure it out.
