We tried to use the netgear ones in our apartment building. Didn't seem to 
work, but that isn't a surprise given that the building could easily have 
3 phase power, and my friend is 4 floors away on the other side of the 
building :-)

The management was kind of cool, although Windows software IIRC. The units 
saw each other, but knew the connection was about as bad as it could be.
