[Novalug] Wireless card

For the LinkSys, under Fedora, does the FC version matter, or
is it the kernel version?  I'm running FC 6, with a kernel of
2.6.22.14-72.  I can fairly easily re-roll my kernel, but
rather not unless I need to.
