[Novalug] OT: Need citations to technical papers/books on Botnets

Hi novaluggers:  long-time lurker here.

I'm a second-year law student preparing a paper on civil tort liability
for botnet attacks.  I'm looking for citations to good technical papers
on botnets and distributed denial of service attacks. 

I'd really appreciate it if any of you could point me in the right
general direction.
