Torrent software is not illegal.  How you use it can be.  Downloading ISO
images is a great legal reason to use it.  Here is the OFFICIAL and legal
DVD torrent links:
http://torrent.ubuntu.com/kubuntu/releases/hardy/release/dvd/

Downloading copyrighted materials is not legal use of it.
