 	We got a "Phone Zapper" or some such thing, from
RatShack when there was talk of them here. It helped for a while;
but the ports on the back aren't labelled -- so I may have them
reversed.

 	It was supposed to recognize machine calls, and send back
the signal that the phone company does to indicate "not in
service."
