You are spot-on right! ...and it seems they have found the errors too
(before you did!)  - https://bugzilla.mozilla.org/show_bug.cgi?id=448597
:-)  Seems like they are working on it.

NOTE:- Those errors are not Wordpress' problem. The designer who made the
custom theme for Mozilla did not care about standards.

I suggest you read (
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Web_content_management_system ) first.

There is no HTML generating program at work here.
