I wrote a masters degree research paper, 3 credits at GW concerning
"Extended Virtual
Visits" of the Smithsonian A&S Museum. Looking at a display let the
user open a
"details box" choosing a tech level and language for the clip....
For instance you could find
out that the German ME-109G through K continued in production after
the much better
FW-190 was introduced not because of politics as is so often
claimed, but because it
came apart at the fuselage-wing junction. As a result ME-109G's
could be shipped to the
Eastern Front via rail while FW-190's had to be flown there, saving
hundreds of gallons of
    precious aviation gasoline per aircraft..........

Any way this was evolved into a NASA CAN-95-1 bid for $1.5 million.
In short, we needed
to team with a local public school system. We skipped Fairfax went
for Loudoun and they
screwed us over causing failure of the bid -- There were secret
supporters of Mac's and the
Jason Project on the school board that we didn't find out about
until too late...........
NEVER try to sell anything to a public school system. You will be
handed your bloody shredded ass
on a platter.......... I have avoided any school - teaching projects
like the plague for a long time
now........ IFF you're interested in developing something for thee
A&S museum send me an
    Email direct.
