First-off, this is NOT directed at Jason but is a general rant about
software web pages. And, I look forward to your talk. Now, the rant:
Is "Blender" a cross-platform vegetable chopper? Sort of an open source
or FOSS version of a Cuisinart?
Being curious about Blender, I Googled and perused
http://www.blender.org/education-help/faq/linux/
and other blender pages and found no quick and concise statement of
purpose (or "about" page) for this software - not an atypical situation.
One is left to determine purpose by surmise - paging through different
pages to see what the software is used for.
