I think there is a place to question the questions within an interview, but
it depends on if you are being recruited or you are applying for a job
(recruiters pushing you for a job are technically applying for the job for
you).

If you are being recruited, you are taking time out of your day to see
someone who already wants to hire you and the roles are somewhat reversed.

Also, in any context I wouldn't want to jump right up and answer a purposely
thrown dumb question without first placing it in the correct 'dumb' context
so the interviewer knows you can identify fundamental logic flaws and
misplaced context.

By the way, anyone interested in applying for a  mid to senior level, 4
month PHP dev contract downtown?
