[Novalug] using yum downloader

hi,
I'm having difficulty getting files for a f12 box
for
audacity-freeworld-1.3.7-0.6.1.beta.fc11.i586.rpm
using my F10 box connected to the net.
(I"ll transfer the files after I get them... first,
I'm trying to find simple package names that are needed ....
I have the above mentioned file.
There are quite a number of other supporting files needed.
I thought yumdownloader might be useful for this.
I D/L a few individually, and I got tired of finding them
one-by-one ..
(and in this case rpmfind is a much better place to get them than
rpmfusion which doesn't seem to have several of the files).
These files are not on the F12 DVD. I also get a lot of "ppc"
and "x64" architectures when I google them... but little in the
way of the x86 i3/5/686 named packages...
I'd like to mention that the fedoraproject site doesn't mention
the f12 "everything" file dir either - least not that I could find ...
This I find to be quite odd. I feel like I'm on a scavenger hunt.
Anyway,
here are the following yumdownloader incantations I tried merely
to get package information !! They didn't work.
[root at waltech F12_extras]# yumdownloader --resolve --urls ./audacity-freeworld-1.3.7-0.6.1.beta.fc11.i586.rpm
Loaded plugins: refresh-packagekit
No Match for argument ./audacity-freeworld-1.3.7-0.6.1.beta.fc11.i586.rpm
Nothing to download
[root at waltech F12_extras]# yumdownloader --resolve --urls ./audacity-freeworld-1.3.7-0.6.1

[root at waltech F12_extras]# yumdownloader --resolve --urls ./audacity-freeworld

Suggestions on how to use yumdownloader ?
or some other sound recorder ? Can gstreamer do it?
Is there a user gui for it if it does ?
thanks!
Walt .........
