[Novalug] OT - electronics stores

List,
I wonder if the original poster (already forgot his name) became
interested by virtue of having attended the February DCLUG meeting. It
was a blast. I mean a BLAST! Serge W lead, and a couple of other guys
from HACPC spoke also, about putting together stuff and programming
microcontrollers to get them to do what you want. I'd bet that putting
together a scrolling display of a message you would type in would be a
popular project for beginners.
Two possibilities.
(1) Get Serge and a couple of other guys to make a presentation at a
regular NOVALUG meeting.
(2) Get a group together and visit the HACPC meeting place in Columbia
Heights. It is close to a Metro, the Howard University Metro, I think.
Let me know. I might go.
Also, google Arduino, I think it was.
