[Novalug] oddball laptop memory question

I would order some 64 and some 128MB SODIMMs off ebay - they are selling for as low as $5 including shipping, so if they don't work you won't be out much.

   Mine was a throw-away that I adopted and kept alive - dunno the
history, no manual. But, it's also missing the "door" for the area
where memory is installed.   Thus, I can't tell if perhaps the
problem only occurs when the door tries to close.  The machine has
2 64M sticks in it, and barely runs okay without swapping much.
But it only "costs" 18-20 watts to run, so I'm not complaining.
   Tnx for the location of the manual.
