 	LATER : I did that; changed my userid and password; added 
an account for Jo; and dug out the mail & smtp addresses (which 
turned out to be the obvious ones) to put into Alpine.

 	Then I got back onto this machine. The back button on 
Firefox took me back to the sign in page -- except that it now 
said sign out. I clicked that, then signed in again with the new 
id and pwd -- and got the white page again.

 	And would you believe these nogoodniks don't *offer* 
usenet?? What's more, it looks like I can no longer get to Gmane, 
nor news.opera.no, nor news.grc.com. Anybody got a 
recommendation? There are groups on all of those, especially 
Gmane, that I depend on heavily. And *%&^*$%#^$@!! Comcast 
already costs more than swva.net did, without paying separately 
for usenet.
