[Novalug] Firefox problem continued

I tried deleting Firefox three completely from my Ubuntu install and then 
re-installing it using the Synaptic package manager. Still had no 
history capabilities. So I used Synaptic to install Firefox 2. It works 
fine with a history and all.

But FF 3 still has no history.
