    I went to the Linux meeting in Atlanta in October 2000.
    It was very interesting.  There was a Professor of Comp Sci  from 
Clemson who
    was very active with Beowolf machines and clusters.  Ghetto-wolf was 
my favorite.
    The existance of the NVIDIA Tesla board changes everything, 
including the relative
    strength of the internode communication vs the floating point flops 
in each node.
    Myrianet  ??  Myranet ??  is the fiber optic comms to beat. Sky-net 
is also a major
    player and they're in Reston......
