2009-05-12 1030 EDT. Not all libraries systems are alike though they share
elements in common. Many of the DCPL branches and main library are near
Metro stops.

The Martin Luther King, Jr. Memorial Library, (Central Library) 901 G
Street, NW has many meeting rooms of various sizes. MLK (Central Library) is
also the central distribution point for A-V equipment that may be reserved
for use for 501c3 organizations meetings. Where the rooms at the Central
Library not available there are a cluster of branch libraries that offer
meeting spaces though A-V equipment generally would need to be provided by
the group using the room. I have reserved rooms at both the MLK (Central
Library) as well as branches. I am familiar with the forms and reservation
process.

The URL for the DCPL system is

While I prefer the generally less restrictive event recording environment of
non-public library venues, I would like the regional libraries near Metro
stops to be options.
