Compiz in Ubuntu defaults to not letting you move windows beyond the panel
because then if you don't know the Alt thing you can get it stuck (or I assume
that's why at least). Using normal ol' Metacity or install compizconfig-
settings-manager and floudering through it (generating a GUI from a DB is
bad!!!) til you find the part about window boundaries can help.
