I hadn't been following the precious metals thread, but reading below,
it looks like a riff on silver and other precious metals to me, i.e.,
aluminum might be unobtainable if other metals become more rare.

Jerry, I'm not sure what you're getting at here. By the subject you
put, you consider the post you responded to as bullying, correct?
Bullying can be a serious problem, and I think it can be verbal (it
doesn't have to be physical to call it bullying), but I'm not sure I'd
agree this was bullying. Is all snark/mockery bullying in your eyes?
If not, what's the distinction here that got you to call it out as
bullying?

And I really don't know what you're trying to say here. Ft. Hood is a
really hot-button topic right now, and I'm dubious about the
usefulness of throwing it around as an example without being very
clear and precise. Are you trying to make people afraid? Are you
claiming that no one should ever be flippant, snarky, sarcastic,
mocking, or anything other than nice, ever, out of *fear* of a
rampage? Are you claiming Paul is going to hurt people? Are you
warning us that you may do so? Or were you saying something else?
Please spell out what you're getting at here, to reduce the chances of
your being badly misread.
