There have been countless GUI front-ends for common Linux tools
for virtually the last decade.  In fact, most of the free Windows tools
available just use the same, base tools as Linux ported to Win32.


I've had to point these out to people on a regular basis.  They'll come
to me and say, "does Linux have this free Windows program?"  And
the second I hit Help -> About, I laugh.  ;)

if there is an easy way to do this in linux, i'd love to hear it, too.
sadly, this process is quite possibly the sole reason i keep a windows
machine around, as using ConvertXtoDVD makes it super easy. i'd much
rather use free software.
