[Novalug] Disposal of Computer equipment

Now that I have bought a new machine (I got one from MicroCenter - Thanks to 
all who suggested it last week), I have an old monitor (17" CRT) and tower 
machine (bad power supply) that I need to get rid of. Something tells me that 
I can't just put it in the trash.
I am more concerned with getting rid of the monitor, I may keep the tower box.
