Well, I can't bring myself to utter Rush's signature line, so I'll say
Ibid.
Clearly, a given person should not be a focus of the list. But I'd have
to say that much of the same issues that apply to Bryan also apply to
myself. We both post a lot, probably too much. And I often throw in mere
jokes, some of which are Lame, but a few Gems now and then.
Perhaps what we should both do is strive to cut our posts in half; not
reply to every nuance that comes down the pike.
As for the Personalities showing thru, the ones I really remember and
respect have very strong ones, even if they are subtle. And many a Guru
is often a Curmudgeon, altho the reverse is not true.
I don't think that Volume is a problem; that's what threads are for.
I kind of miss Usenet New, which had easy ways of killing Subjects and
Authors...now I just let them accumulate.
In any case, Bryan, you generate More Light than Heat, as I think I do,
and for those who don't like us, well they can "check theor own
filesystems" if you get my drift.
Besides, if we do anything worth screaming about, I'm sure we will hear
from The People With Z's In Their Names.
JIM
P.S. I tend to post more when I'm unemployed ... and if a certain
company would get moving, that should soon no longer be the case.
