cpu temperature monitoring

there also are some linux programs that will monitor cpu temp and fanspeed 
so you do not just have to look from the bio screen (ro whatever it is 
called at boot). i had to splice a power cord to my northbridge fan while 
waiting for a replacemnet in the mail and i installed one to use under 
gnome. it is sensors-applet 2.2.1 at

it has an alarm setting also if temp goes to high.
