[Novalug] Usenix booth: power and other stuff

Hi:

I didn't recall mention of power for the Usenix table.

Table, chairs, free wifi, as i recall.

We didn't have power at FOSE,
and the XOs were good for that,
but battery life over a long exhibit period
can be draining, so thought i would check
with the group.

Also, what are the next steps,
this is quick since FOSE we plan
much further ahead for swag, load
in, etc.

Or just do informal meet and greet type
stuff.

Just some idears on what to say:

Tux.org is an umbrella organization
of local Linux Users Groups.

Each LUG has monthly
meetings, many have done installfests,
tweakfest, some hands on meetings, etc.

Tux.org has incorporation, servers,
basically infrastructure supporting the
local LUGs.

Our big event for public
education is FOSE each year.


I'm assuming someone else is "booth captain"
and looking for people to stop by
for different time slots?
