[Novalug] any known issues with Dell laptops and ubuntu?

I seriously doubt Dell would sell a netbook/notebook pre-installed
with Linux and not ensure all functionality.  I have extra mini-
PCIe half and full length [A]GN5100 wireless cards for this
reason, though even Broadcom cards are working fine with
Linux out-of-the-box these days.  Most recognize the value of
Open Source, and everyone on all sides recognizes the FCC-firmware
issues aren't really going to be solves by not finding a medium.
