Yes, I got the dual-core 1810T specifically for the purpose of being able to more effectively use VirtualBox. This chip has VT enabled. Therefore, you've definitely nailed one of the causes. It makes sense. Thanks.

I have 4GiB and never have used it all, so I don't think this is it.
