we have a server (gwyn.tux.org) that went down recently (network issue
beyond our control and not sure when it will be fixed.

This raised the old questions about what should tux.org provide, who
will do the work, etc.

For those who have been around, yep, the question is back. And no
there is no answer.

That said,
   mailman was fixed and back
webmail is close to being delivered
rest of the services need updating and maintenance (pretty sure)

Over the years, people have volunteered and then life gets in the way.
People can't finish the work or maintain it any longer. Sometimes
nothing happens except a conversation.

Well, I have decided to see if we can do something (NOVALUG) to get
this going again.

I am working with the administrators to try and figure out
    what we are providing
    what we want to provide

If you are willing to help and can give time (if you miss a deadline,
you will be gone and someone else will hopefully step forward), let me
know.

Training and apprenticeship are available, assuming we can figure out
how to do it online (open to ideas).

I WOULD LIKE to see
   stuff backed/mirrored
   maybe HA services
