The box has SATA on the motherboard and I recently added a separate
controller card. The card has different controller chips than the MB.
While I haven't tried the OCZ drive on the separate controller card,
the returned MicroCenter drive acted up on both interfaces.
Any other way to rule out controller? Oh, and I tried different
cables as well.
