[Novalug] [OT] cheap gaming (L4D2) system?

My son really wants to play left for dead 2. Of course it requires a PC,
which we don't have. So I am looking for a CHEAP solution.

The Wine stuff for Mac or Linux doesn't work.

I have an old Dell, but it has MoBo Intel graphics and I don't know if that
will work. Don't want to break the seal until we know for sure.

Is there 'a good way' to test a system to see if it would work?
