[Novalug] Infuriating experience with DSL/Verizon

Charlie,

An address supplied by an ISP helps lock you into that ISP, or at
least complicates switching to another service - Verizon being
no exception. I'd suggest, if nothing else, getting a second address,
such as Gmail, and use both address for everything, so you can ditch
an ISP at any time. I have a Verizon email addy (somewhere or the
other) which I've never used. If I were to use it, it would just
be a throw-away addy, but not for anything important.
