You need someone with a dead MyBook and spare power supply.  If you want to search for a new power supply, mine reads:

> Output: 12V ⎓ 2A  (symbol showing pin-positive)

Plus serial number and UL, No Trash, FCC and other generic symbols.

I may have a spare.  If I do, I'll bring it to the meeting next week.
