Did you attach a speaker or anything to the motherboard? Is it beeping
at all? Sometimes you can diagnose the error from the 'beep code' listed
in the manual. All you need on the MB is power, the start button and the
 speaker. Forget all the rest of the lights/buttons. You can add them
one at a time after you are sure everything else is good.
