[Novalug] problem with power state change on laptop

Sorry Jim, this will be my final response to you on-list because
I honestly think you just want to bait me. I could answer but you'll
just try to re-explain not only what I said, but how it's not important
(like how it's not important to know why people need to know if
it's DMI, PXE, etc...).

Generally speaking, not to anyone, just remember that the more
one posts, the more we can see how much they do or do not know.
That alone is not the issue - we're all here to help one another.
But in the repeat context of asking almost rhetorically, then turning
around and questioning why others might "make a big deal" about
why it's important to know the specific reasons for naming,
options,
approaches, etc... under the original question/poster/context is everything.

I can be winded. I can be verbose. But one thing I don't do is post
to make myself "look smart" or "be condescending" by posting
sometimes background/redundant information others may already
know. It's only done for completeness, if anything just for my own,
stupid reasoning, but also maybe search engine hits. Call me the
village idiot or instigator, but I don't want to touch this ...

"Clarification please: I was under the impression that each 5.x realease
is based on a different Fedora release."

I've seen this enough times to know I cannot respond ever again.
Although I only have myself to blame for it getting to this point.
Cheers.

Clarification please: I was under the impression that each 5.x realease
is based on a different Fedora release. Of course, you would know
better, so that's why I am asking.

Also, any idea when RHEL 6 will appear?

JIM
