[Novalug] Evolution not working

What happens is that Evolution will not send or receive mail.

If this problem can't be resolved on line, maybe it can be handled by some
kind soul with both of us on the horn. In that case, a time has to be
agreed upon. As a last resort I would be happy to bring my computer (the
Shuttle) to your place.

As matters now stand I am staying at abacklog of about 100 messages, etc.
I find SquirrellMail very clumsy in this situation.
