Charlie,
Grats to you on prevailing, and much praise to the novaluggers
who helped. This group continues to amaze me with just how fantastic
it is.
On the surge protector issue, this brings up a question. Since
electronic devices should be protected, but the protector borks some
devices, I ponder whole-house protectors. This would put the entire
house wiring "behind" a single protector so bridges can talk to each
other without sending a signal thru a protector. So, the question
is, has anyone here actually set up a whole house surge protector
and what kind of problems might have happened? I acknowledge that
a professional electrician would be needed to do this, but I wonder
if such a protector would need to be replaced every few years by
yet another electrician visit?
