If you have the text in an OOO write document, format a page in
landscape orientation. Set margins as you want. So the "pages" appear
side-by-side, format the text in two columns and fiddle - I've not found
how to force going to col 2 without fudging by adding hard-returns to
force wrap to a second column. There are col-spacing settings one can
adjust to get spacing wished for between cols. I have also formatted
(kludged) text using a one-row two-col table with no borders on cells.
If you only have the text in PDF, you may be able to use the text select
tool to copy from PDF to OOO.
