Fighting with it right now and it's driving me up a wall.  All things
considered I'd rather be dealing with AFbackup (or at best something I
wrote myself) for backing things up across a network.

For local backups I prefer the aforementioned rdiff-backup, which can be
used across a LAN (usually over SSH).

I rather like Matt Smith's portrayal of the character.  He's gone 'round
to the 'mad bastard' end of the spectrum and it seems to work for the
direction the character's gone in.  I think he's knocked it out of the
park and hope he sticks around for a few seasons.  Karen Gillian's
playing Amy Pond as not just a companion but a foil to the character of
the Doctor and I love watching the interplay.  She's punked him not a
few times, sometimes without realizing it. :)
