Flash can be troublesome.  I haven't had the best stability running 32 bit
flash on my x86-64 host.

The presenter was on top of his game, and there are far more
working ideas in an average distro than otherwise.

Linux is an ecosystem of wildly divergent ideas and philosophies.  That
so many opposed beliefs and philosophies can coexist is where the value
lies.
