[Novalug] Open Suse 11.2 VNC

Set up VNC, disabled firewall ti test.  Service appears to have 
restarted and netstat -a shows the following:

susegeek:/home/bvoight > netstat -a | grep 5801
tcp        0      0 *:5801                  *:*                     LISTEN

Options (default) for Tight VNC are:
Encoding                         Auto
Compression level           Default
JPEG Image quality         6
Cursor shape updates     Enable
Sue Copy/Rect               Yes
Restricted Colors            No
Mouse Buttons 2 and 3   Normal
View only                        No
Scale remote cursor        No
Share desktop                Yes (grayed out)

I can connect, Options show, but all I see is a black screen.  
Disconnect and reconnect work fine.

Has anyone successfully setup Open Suse 11.2 VNC or had a similar problem?
