I did not mean to insult you personally, I was insulting a practice. And 
I am sure you more careful in what you write professionally; after all, 
this is a throwaway forum.

You are wrong in that it was a /tad /overbearing, it was /totally 
/overbearing! But people will remember the post.

So my personal apologies to you for making an example of you; it would 
have been nicer to remove your name from the post. And kudos for the 
non-greedy match, a feature my own solutions failed to exploit. Kudos 
for that.

But 80 characters is ten times my limit (ok, I'll extend my 6 to 8).

I think that you will find with time that age varies inversely with the 
amount of unnecessary complexity that you are willing to tolerate.
