Although I tend to be leery of Things Microsoft, I've been using MS Security
Essentials on a few systems for nearly a year, with no issues. (I'm running
it under Windows XP, Windows 7 32-bit, and Windows 7 64-bit.) No nags, the
performance hit doesn't seem too bad, and the need to reboot relatively
infrequent.
