Back in the old LUGs I used to go to, we used to have "install fests"
from time to time where the experienced users would help the less
experienced in either fixing specific problems or doing a new
installation. I have a co-worker, for example, who is looking to get
started with Linux and to learn some useful tricks associated with
network security and the like. He only knows Windows at the moment and
the tools for Windows I don't care for as much as those under Linux.
Been meaning to initiate him myself but when we're at work, we're busy
you know?
